Everyone wants to be a leader. People want to be addressed as leaders with charismatic leadership traits. It gives a good feeling. But, some people don’t dare to take the efforts, pain, and challenges to uplift themselves to the leadership stage. What happens when things don’t go your way? Ne a leader to handle them out.
In this article, I am going to talk about charismatic leadership traits.
the article intends to describe the qualities of charismatic leaders, and how to achieve them that inspirational people do also.
Charismatic leadership traits
They want to be leaders in shortcuts. These are called chance leadership, which is nevertheless sustainable. True leaders never bother to face the unwritten and uncertain pain and sacrifice of leadership.
Leadership costs a lot. Achievements gained easily are flushed away easily too. People with hard work for leadership gain success forever.
Think about the leadership skills of the ant, where all team members follow the leader blindly. The qualities of charismatic leaders for success are the traits that inspirational people do whenever possible.
Bees are another example of showing leadership skills, where all other bees follow the command of their queen bee of the hive. We can derive many other examples of leadership from nature. Charismatic leaders are not born with 2 heads, or 6 hands- they are also like us. Activities and philosophies have made them such.
Leadership is a responsibility, a mentality, a passion, a culture, and a habit of inspirational people. It is not developed in a day. Don’t give an opinion. It is the worst kind of knowledge to display for helping others. People need empathy. It is a sign of accountability. People love those inspirational people who take responsibility.
“Let the improvement of yourself keep you so busy that you have no time to criticize others.”
-Roy T. Bennett
1. Vision
Vision is an objective and a living dream that gives a person inspiration, meaning, and an action plan for her life. It is to set the future and goal in life that reflects the qualities of charismatic leaders.
Vision is the ability to experience the future with imagination, knowledge, and judgment. Vision is one of the influential leadership skills for the winner.
It is a strong and real picture of the future that makes its result realistic through a set of activities.
“The most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight, but has no vision.”
– Helen Keller
Vision is important because it gives us a meaningful Fife. When we have a vision, we try to achieve them.
And this in turn helps to set our plan and action to accomplish. Vision is usually a long-term process, and without any exception, it sets usually a constant result at the end.
However, the operational goal can be changed frequently, but not the vision.
The statement and description of a vision can be elaborated only, up to many pages. Inspirational people have their steadfast vision.
Regardless of any person or company, the following is an overall checklist of actions that enable us how to set a vision as a part of charismatic leadership traits:
How to set a leadership vision?
Objective, at first we need to know the objective of our vision, and what we actually want to achieve in the end.
The goal, means, what is the outcome of the vision, and how we would achieve it. Setting and reaching the goal is one of the significant leadership skills for the winner.
Achievable, is the vision realistic? Can we actually achieve it in the end, considering factors and effects?
Time, there should have a clear time frame with its breakdown in parts, what we would like to achieve and when would.
The action plan, the sequential segments of action, and the plan are divided into smaller parts.
Consistent, reaching vision needs continuous effort and action.
Recall, never to forget about the course of action. Keep remembering that will spur you with motivation to stay on track.
Broaden our eyes, open up our perspective, and look forward. We cannot do micro-management, but also will consider small matters which can be costly in the long run.
Future, we are focusing on the future, not the present. Thinking about the future and making proper plans for the future are important leadership skills for a winner.
Mission, we will be having a clear mission statement to be helpful and interlinked on its way
2. Be the best
People don’t feel the best due to a lack of confidence. Everyone is special. Charismatic leadership traits are the same as we discuss. The Almighty has a plan with every creation. Each of us has some uniqueness.
Explore your individual entity. It is not very easy. You need a lot of effort and action to be. When you target your moon, you can at least get the stars.
Don’t think you are in the most miserable state. Think out of the box. Being out of the box is one of the positive leadership skills for the victorious. Be flexible to change. It is the trait of inspirational people.
The world is always for the winner. Victorious is acknowledged and appreciated. People remember them who proved their supremacy over others.
The audience doesn’t hear from the mediocre people. And being the best in a passionate area is a good meaning of life. Observe the life sketch of inspirational people you are fond of.
Inspirational people are famous because they explored their lives. Famous people didn’t bear famous. Their goal, aim, and action made the inspirational people that.
You need not think even to be the best. Just keep up your ethics, goals, and passion in line with a system.
And keep doing it all through your life. Keep practicing. Keep developing your skills. Explore your potential.
You will be required some mentors whom you think have been best in your passionate areas, then, walk your own way.
There are many unexplored areas where you can contribute. You are unique, like all others. Your DNA and fingerprints are unique, and so is your goal.
Achieve those. Be the small sheep in a big field, not a big sheep in a small field.
3. Focus
Focus is meditative attention to the goal. There will have a lot of distractions. When you are focused, no barriers will be able to divert your goal.
“You cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.”
– Mark Twain
Eat good food. Diet and food habits have great command on focus. Eating good food can help to enhance the leadership skills of the winner. Fruits like berries help enhance concentration.
Meditation is a good exercise for keeping focus. Prayer to the Almighty is a good implication to uphold focus. Prayers allow us to recall, how much concentration we should pay.
The focus will not come in a day. If you are not focused on office activities, you will not be a good finisher and dependable.
4. Make your own success
How many success stories do you need to hear before you make your own? It is you who has to bring your success. Your intention, actions, and goal setting enable you to make your success.
You cannot depend on others who will bring success to you. They may be just team members to assist you to reach your success. Or, you will be working in a team, but need to signify your individual success in the team. Set your determination for the lives of inspirational people who have charismatic leadership traits.
“Keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground.”
– Franklin D. Roosevelt
To make you successful, need to know your goal first. What do you want to achieve? What makes you successful? When you know your objective, you can set an action plan that would be leading to your success.
You have to be committed to your objective like charismatic leadership traits. Seek knowledge, the outcome will be the consequences of your action. Don’t rely on others and have fun. Relying upon thyself and having fun are effective leadership skills for the winner.
Be flexible, show your openness of mind and gratitude, relate passion, and keep trust in yourself. And most importantly, move on!
5. Create opportunity
Opportunities will not come through circulars and advertisements. You cannot wait for opportunities. Not waiting for opportunities, but rather creating opportunities is one of the magnificent leadership skills nowadays.
Chances will be created suddenly. There is no schedule for it. Even everyone doesn’t realize it. You have to create your opportunities.
The clue is, that every problem is an opening of any opportunities. The question is, can you find out your opportunities?
Taking chances is in fact taking risks. Some chances may click, and some may not. But we should keep chasing.
If you don’t buy the lottery ticket, you don’t have any chance to win a big deal.
When you think not to initiate your business (due to eminent fear to lose), you have no chance to make a profile.
In Fact, drawbacks like fear, stagnation, and shyness pull us from the back and don’t allow us to take chances.
Whereas, think about successful people who frequently took risks and changes in their life, which resulted in great success in life.
So, think out of the box. Get out of your comfort zone. The real charm of life is out there.
6. Have confidence
Confidence is a personal skill that stimulates a human being with self-belief in her abilities to perform. It is one of the fundamental strengths of a person as a social being. A person with (self) confidence has many tendencies to overcome her challenges successfully.
“Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth.
”-Rumi
When you will have self-doubt, you kill your creativity. So, trust yourself to know how to live. Believe in what you say, think, and do. Keeping trust in thyself is one of the leadership skills.
“I do not believe in taking the right decision, I take a decision and make it right.”
-Muhammad Ali Jinnah
Your self-confidence and action make your dream true. Excavate your spirit by believing in yourself. No need to take approval from others about your abilities, it is not enough to cultivate your strength. Rather, it is a suicidal approach to get attested by others to live on.
“Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string.”
-Ralph Waldo Emmerson
Face the truth by yourself. Act for self. Those who fly alone have the strongest wings. There who prey alone have the strongest courage.
7. Learn from failures
Can we name anyone who has not failed ever in life? We cannot. But, we can name many of our failures in life.
I have failed many times. You have also. And the good news is that you have overcome your failure to succeed many times too. You could learn to walk after tumbling many a time. It is the philosophy of inspirational people.
Related: How could you convert your failure to success
You learned talking after many fumbling many times. There are many more examples we can draw. It happens with all, in different perspectives, dimensions, and effects. Learning from failure is one of the influential leadership skills for victory.
“All men make mistakes, but a good man yields when he knows his course is wrong, and repairs the evil. The only crime is pride.”
-Sophocles
We are built naturally, to learn from failure. Some people realize this, some don’t. Some people accept failures and take overcoming and learning measures intentionally.
It is tested that when people learn something from failures, sustain it for a long. Learning from failures turns out to be a life learning for most people. Some great men even advise failing! It is a preamble to imminent future success.
8. Avoid ego
The ego is the killer of all virtues. A person may have every possible quality, but all these are in vain when he has one single trait in his character. Move on as the lives of inspirational people. Ego is a silent mother killer against all achievements. Pride is good until it crosses the limit up to ego.
“The Ego is a veil between humans and God’.
In prayer all are equal.”-Rumi
Leading a simple life eliminates ego. Simple life means a simple attitude, empathy, and openness. The ego is the negative thoughts, attitudes, and feelings. We turn jealous. Leading a simple life is one of the influential leadership skills.
Ego multiplies the positive signs of emotional feelings like serenity, joy, gratitude, interest, appreciation, hope, excitement, awe, adventure, amusement, love, pride, and peace of day-to-day life.
9. Advance yourself
“No matter how old you are now. You are never too young or too old for success or going after what you want.
