Everyone wants to be a leader. People want to be addressed as leaders. It gives a good feelings. But, some people don’t dare to take the efforts, pain and challenges to uplift themselves to the leadership stage. This article intends to describe leading inspirational leadership characteristics for successful people, as well how to achieve them.
They want to be leaders in shortcut. These are called by chance leadership, which is nevertheless sustainable. True leaders never bother to face the unwritten and uncertain pain and sacrifice of leadership.
Leadership costs a lot. Achievements gained easily are flushed away easily too. People with hard work for leadership gain success forever.
Think about the leadership of the ant, where all team members follow the leader blindly.
Bees are another example, where all other bees follow command of their queen bee of the hive. We can derive many other examples of leadership from the nature.
Leadership is a responsibility, a mentality, a passion, a culture and a habit. It is not developed in a day. Don’t give opinion. It is the worst kind of knowledge to display for helping others. People need empathy. It is a sign of accountability. People loves those leaders who take responsibility.
“Let the improvement of yourself keep you so busy that you have no time to criticize others.”
-Roy T. Bennett
Vision is an objective and a living dream that gives a person inspiration, meaning and action plan of her life. It is to set the future and goal in life.
Vision is an ability to experience future with imagination, knowledge and judgement.
It is a strong and real picture of future that makes its result realistic through a set of activities.
“The most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight, but has no vision.”
– Helen Keller
Vision is important because it gives us a meaningful Fife. When we have a vision, we try to achieve them.
And this in turn helps to set our plan and action to accomplish. Vision is usually a long term process, and without any exception, it sets usually a constant result at the end.
However, the operational goal can be changed frequently, but not the vision.
The statement and description of a vision can be elaborated only, up to many pages.
Regardless to any person or company, following is an overall checklist of action that enable us how to set a vision–
Objective, at first we need to know the objective of our vision, what we actually want to achieve at the end.
Goal, means, what is the outcome of the vision, and how we would achieve
Achievable, is it the vision realistic? Can we actually achieve it at the end, considering factors and affects?
Time, there should have a clear time frame with its breakdown in parts, what we would like to achieve when. would.
Action plan, the sequential segments of action and plan divided into smaller parts.
Consistent, reaching vision needs continuous effort and action.
Recall, never to forget about course of action. Keep remembering that will spur you with motivation to stay on track.
Broaden eyes, opening up our perspective, and looking forward. We cannot do micro management, but also will consider small matters which can be costly in the long run.
Future, we are focusing the future, not present.
Mission, we will be having a clear mission statement to be helpful and interlinked on its way
#2. Be the best
People don’t feel the best due to lack of confidence. Everyone is special. The Almighty has plan with every creation. Each of us has some uniqueness.
Explore your individual entity. It is not very easy. You need lot of efforts and actions to be. When you target your moon, you can at least get the stars.
Don’t think you are the in the most miserable state. Think out of box. Be flexible to change.
The world is always for the winner. Victorious are acknowledged and appreciated. People remember them who proved their supremacy over others.
Audience don’t hear from the mediocre people. And being the best in a passionate area is a good meaning of life. Observe life sketch of a famous person.
They are famous because they explored their lives. Famous people didn’t born famous. Their goal, aim and action made them that.
You need not to think even to be the best. Just keep up your ethics, goal and passion in line of a system.
And keep doing all through of your life. Keep practicing. Keep developing your skills. Explore your potential.
You will be required some mentors whom you think has been best in your passionate areas.then, walk your own ways.
There are many unexplored area where you can contribute. You are unique, like all others. Your DNA and fingerprints are unique, so as your goal.
Achieve those. Be the small sheep in a big field, not a big sheep in a small fish.
Focus is the meditative attention to the goal. There will have a lot of distractions. When you are focused, no barriers will be able to divert your goal.
“You cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.”
– Mark Twain
Eat good food. Diet and food habits have great command on focus. Fruits like berries help enhance concentration.
Meditation is a good exercise for keeping focus. Prayer to the Almighty is a good implication to uphold focus. Prayers allow us to recall, how much concentration we should pay.
Focus will not come in a day. If you are not focused in the office activities, you will not be a good finisher and dependable.
#4. Make your own success
It is you who has to bring your success. Your intention, actions and goal setting enables you to make your success.
You cannot depend on others who will bring success for you. They may be just team members to assist you to reach your success. Or, you will be working in a team, but need to signify your individual success in the team.
“Keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground.”
– Franklin D. Roosevelt
To make your success, need to know your goal first. What do you want to achieve? What makes you successful? When you know your objective, you can set action plan that would be leading to your success.
You have to be committed to your objective. Seek knowledge, the outcome will be the consequences of your action. Don’t rely on others and have fun.
Be flexible, show your openness of mind and gratitude, relate passion, and keep trust upon you. And most importantly, move on!
#5. Take a chance
Opportunities will not come by circulars and advertisements. You cannot wait for opportunities.
Chances will be created suddenly. There is no schedule for it. Even everyone doesn’t realize it. You have to create your opportunities.
The clue is, every problem is an opening of any opportunities. The question is, can you find out your opportunities?
Taking chances are in fact taking risks. Some chances may click, some may not. But we should keep chasing.
If you don’t buy the lottery ticket, you don’t have any chance to win a big deal.
When you think not to initiate your business (due to eminent fear to lose), you have no chance to make profile.
In Fact drawbacks like fear, stagnation and shyness pull us from the back, and don’t allow us to take chances.
Whereas, think about successful people they frequently took risk and chances in their life, that resulted them great success in life.
So, think out of box. Get out of your comfort zone. The real charm of life is out there.
#6. Have confidence
Confidence is a personal skill that stimulates a human being with self belief on her abilities to perform. It is one of the fundamental strength of a person as a social being. A person with (self) confidence has much tendencies to overcome her challenges successfully.
“Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth.
When you will have self doubt, you kill your creativity. So, trust yourself to know how to live. Believe in what you say, think and do.
“I do not believe in taking the right decision, I take a decision and make it right.”
-Muhammad Ali Jinnah
Your self confidence and action makes your dream true. Excavate your spirit by believing yourself. No need to take approval from others about your abilities, it is not enough to cultivate your strength. Rather, it is a suicidal approach to get attested by others to live on.
“Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string.”
-Ralph Waldo Emmerson
Face the truth by yourself. Act for self. Those who fly alone has the strongest wings. There who prey alone has the strongest courage.
#7. Learn from failures
Can we name anyone who has not failed ever in life? We cannot. But, we can name many of our failures in life.
I have failed many times. You have also. And good news is that, you have overcome your failure to success many times to. You could learned walking after tumbling many a time.
You learned talking after many fumbling many a times. There are many more examples we can draw. It happens with all, in different perspectives, dimensions and effects.
“All men make mistakes, but a good man yields when he knows his course is wrong, and repairs the evil. The only crime is pride.”
We are built naturally, to learn from failure. Some people realize this, some don’t. Some people accept failures and take overcoming and learning measures intentionally.
It is tested that when people learn something from failures, sustain for a long. Learning from failures turn to be the life learning for most of the people. Some great men even advice to fail! It is a preamble to the imminent future success.
#8. Avoid ego
Ego is the killer of all virtues. A person may have every possible qualities, but all these are in vain when he has one single trait in his character. Ego is a silent mother killer against all achievements. Pride is good until it crosses limit up to ego.
“The Ego is a veil between humans and God’.
In prayer all are equal.”
Leading a simple life eliminates ego. Simple life means the simple attitude, empathy, and openness. Ego is the negative thoughts, attitudes and feelings. We turn jealous.
Ego multiplies the positive signs of emotional feelings like: serenity, joy, gratitude, interest, appreciation, hope, excitement, awe, adventure, amusement, love, pride and peace of day to day life.

Be a curious listener. Some people listen to reply, they don’t listen to understand. Listen to realize. People tells you so that you can give them a better solution. Speak honestly. Speak to inspire others. Listen to speak. Speak to listen.
“Act with integrity. The greatest problem with communication is we don’t listen to understand. We listen to reply. When we listen with curiosity, we don’t listen with the intent to reply. We listen for what’s behind the words.”
-Roy T. Bennett
Sometimes, just listening to someone attentively is the best way to serve, where all other helps remain exaggeration. Active listening is a great way of communication, as the speakers feel honored to be heard.

Amicable personalities have great friends. A person is treated by the acquaintances and friends she has. Having great friends mean you have open mind. All friends are not great. All acquaintances are even not friends. Friends with great qualities help one’s life to be better. Great friends make one’s life meaningful.

The first biological term about a living trait of protozoa we read in book on our childhood, is to move. It is very symbolic. In case of human being, this move refers to many meanings. As the greatest creatures in the world, human beings should naturally move on. It is the spirit of life.
